Help! Teaching with Ipods Linky and Give Away

Oh my goodness, I am super excited. My school has purchased a set of 5 Ipods and is hosting a pilot program. In order to be considered for the pilot, I have to write an instructional plan to discuss how I would implement them. This is where all of my wonderful blogging buddies come in....I am begging for advice and suggestions on how you use them currently or how you would use them. To return the favor, those that participate in my Linky will have an opportunity to win all of my items in my TN store.
I found this amazing website (click on the image above) that lists many uses for hand held devices. The one that I took interest in is podcasting. I was also told that teachers will have access to microphones and video recorders. Oh the training that I need, but hey everyone has to start somewhere :)

I know many of you amazing bloggies out there have made Ipods/Ipads a part of your every day instruction and I would so love to have any advice that you could offer.
Hugs,

I would so love to give you some ideas/advice (since I know everything, right???) LOL. However, I am at a complete loss since I'm still not exactly sure what an ipod is. Oh well, I'm sure you will get lots of great ideas.

Using IPODs in the classroom is fairly new for me. Right now I use my Kindle Fire (Can't afford and IPAD just yet) in class with learning apps. I have students use play learning games to help with interventions. I nominated your blog for an award! Come on over to my blog to get your award.

Good luck! I just wrote up a Donors Choose project for an iPod. I wrote that I would use the voice memo app to allow students to record themselves reading so they can listen to themselves and improve. I also thought it would be an easy way for kids to take photos and videos of our science and application projects. An iPod is a lot less bulky than a camera. :)

I can't wait to read all the suggestions you get, so I can borrow them and write up something to try to get some classroom iPods! Wish I could help, but I can't :(
