Made it Monday

Oh my goodness, I just absolutely love reading all of your posts for Tara's "Made it Mondays" and I decided to join in the fun!

For my classroom, I have been working on a Turquoise Dot/Popcorn theme for my classroom and have created some things to use. One of which is labels for my clock. Below they are printed and laminated. I can't wait to get in my room to hang them up. I am sure that they will look much better  around an actual clock and on a white wall rather than my kitchen island.

Okay, I have a confession to make. My home items I made several months ago, but I am so proud if them and what to share. I made the quilt, crib skirt, valance, and letters for my baby's nursery. I purchased the awesome Dr. Seuss fabric from What teacher's kids wouldn't like Dr. Seuss right? Anyway, they have a coupon code right now (Corner12) for 10% off $40.00 or more.

The blank wooden letters for his name were purchased at Michael's...and because you know I just love a good deal I have to share with you that they have a ton of things on clearance right now and for what isn't on clearance they have terrific coupons. I painted them white, traced the letters upside down onto the back of the fabric and "Modge Podged" the fabric on to the wood. I used matte Modge Podge by the way.

His room is awesome! Thank you for explaining how to do the letters. I am thinking of updating my daughters' names on their doors.

I am inspired to redo my clock labels after seeing yours. How did you make the designs as a circle?
